Sometimes you may be greeted from our friendly family pet. He is separate from the daycare space but he visits the children from his spot on the stairs. He is a wonderful golden retriever and really enjoys the kids. It’s also been great to see the bond with him, and the families in our care.
Over the past several months we have been busy making big changes to our classroom! We have created a classroom library, expanded our block area, revamped our art area, and moved our fish tank inside a wall to open up more space for science! Please check out what our space looks like now.
Outside space makeover pictures coming soon! We are a part of The Child and Adult Care Food Program we only serve proper portions of nutritious meals and snacks. We serve two meals breakfast and lunch h and two snacks times through out the day. The goal is to improve and maintain the health and nutritional status of children in care while promoting the development of good eating habits. Below is some photos of some of our meals we have served before.
We are excited to start construction on this pocket bathroom for our classroom. This has been a project we have always thought about doing but never took the leap. We will update this as the construction takes place and I can provide progress pictures. basically a new exterior door that swings out and a pocket door and sink toilet and wall mount changing table. Below is a quick outline of the space that this bathroom will be done.
